  19. Rec.games.video is seen by more people than see any alt.games group.
  20. Extrapolating from this, some people interested in SNES won't have access
  21. to the alt group, and will no doubt keep using the rec group.  All you'll
  22. accomplish is to have independent discussions going on in both groups,
  23. which is confusing at least.

  25. I recommend that if rec.games.video needs splitting you run a proper
  26. discussion/vote and keep the new groups within rec.games.
