- first, i'd like to announce that the alt.cabal control messages will be

- service should arrange it so that "becker" will never even see the control
- messages. and in any case, the members of the "alt.cabal" will not be
- accepting control messages in "alt" from anyone other than the alt.cabal.
- if "becker" somehow learns of a control message and decides to anti-rmgroup
- it by forging an alt.cabal message, we will institute some kind of authenticat-
- ion on our control messages to prevent a recurrance.
