  20. What potential topics exist which a) are inappropriate for discussion
  21. within the pub.* groups themselves and b) are inappropriate for e-mail?

  23. Out-of-character collaboration on alt.pub.* stories has been accomplished
  24. quite successfully through e-mail.  Indeed, some of the larger threads
  25. (the [R] and [KQ] on a.p.d-i, for example) involved the construction of
  26. de-facto temporary mailing lists.

  28. These communications are of no interest to persons not involved in writing
  29. the thread; there is no point in creating a group for them.  If this is
  30. not what the alt.pub.<discussion?> group is intended to accomplish,
  31. please illuminate me.
