  12. alt.cabal control messages?  They have been forging articles
  13. from Jef Poskanzar for months...

  15.      What we really need is a public-key encryption scheme:
  16. - tale, vixie, et al post encrypted date-stamped control messages
  17. - participating dealers automatically decrypt the messages and
  18.   repost them with "local" distribution 
  19. - participating dealers acknowledge control messages only from
  20.   the people they trust.

  23. time I tried to do that... oh well, that's another story.
