  20. Would TMC be willing to configure its news transport to unconditionally
  21. accept control messages in "alt.*" from tale@uunet.uu.net?  You're probably
  22. right that noone can kill old alt groups, but would could get a band of us
  23. together who all trust a central authority and at least keep the cruft out
  24. of the bigger news servers.  My active file has 6,510 lines in it, and I'm
  25. feeling pressed by my kernel to make each "active" line worthwhile.
