  12. I'm starting to investigate the possibilities about compressing.
  13. I'm working on a project in which images have to be compressed in
  14. order to transfer it via modem or other medium. There are some
  15. compressing methods available, LZW, run length, huffman etc.
  16. My question is this which one is best for compressing images or
  17. is there anything better.
  18. There is one condition: the compression time has to be (sort of)
  19. equal to the decompression time.
