  13. A while ago I thought I found a gold mine.  At a yard sale someone was selling a
  14. CDR-1553S Hitachi Drive for $25.  I scooped it up and didn't ask to many questions.
  15.  However I am having problems getting the correct cables for it.  The drive came
  16. with a CD-IFI4-A interface card.  I have tried numerous times to get Hitachi and
  17. their distributor to send me the correct cable but they seem to have a problem
  18. understanding their own equipment.  The CD unit has a 50 pin centronics connector
  19. on it and the interface card has a 37 pin regular connection.  They have sent me
  20. the CD-CBL-S which is a 50-50 centronics conections cable.

  22. Long story but here is my question.  Could some one with the CDR-1553S drive
  23. please tell me what cable and or connection do I need to hook this thing up?  Do
  24. I need just a converter at this point from centronics 50 to DB37?  (unfortunately
  25. the seller did not have a manual.
