  11. I'm noticing a lot of WORM drives come onto the market for around
  12. $400.  The deals seem almost too good to pass up, so I would like to
  13. get feedback on two specific WORM units:

  15. -    Pioneer DD-S5101 (was under Optimem OEM)
  16. -    Maxtor (don't have a model number, but it's the one that
  17.     holds either 400 or 800 megs of data, and it's full height
  18.     5 1/4" form-factor)

  20. Has anyone had any experiences good or bad with these units?  Can
  21. someone point me to a review of either of these WORM drives?

  23. Does someone know why these things are getting dumped on the market so
  24. cheaply?

  26. Finally, if anyone knows of a good source for large quantities of
  27. cheap medium for either device, I would like to know about it.
