- I have been reading this group and the soundcard group for a few days now,
- and find them to be very informative!
-
- I have just ordered a Gateway 486-66 Vesa system with 16mb of RAM and a
- 500Mb SCSI drive. I am planning to purchase an XM-3401 CD rom drive and
- the Turtle Beach Multisound card. Does anyone have both in one machine?
- Do they work well together?
-
- I called Ultra Stor and they mentioned that I should order their disk of
- drivers for the 34F controller since it includes a driver that they know
- works with the Toshiba 3401.
-
- I havent figured out all of the postings about which drivers to load first
- and how to best configure the system. Any basic information I should know
- before the system arrives? Or it is basically a trial and error thing?
