- I've been reading about the problems that people are having loading
- CD-ROM device drivers high in order to maximize conventional
- memory.
-
- It seems like you need QEMM x.xx and even DR-DOS to do it on 386's. (?)
-
- So, what I want to know is, specifically concerning the new 350 ms
- Mitsumi CD-ROM drive, can the device driver that comes with it
- be loaded high on a 286 with 4 megs of ram and MS-DOS 5.0 ?
-
- If not, will driver's use of conventional memory seriously handicap
- other DOS applications?
-
- Can QEMM x.xx be used on 286's to solve these driver problems?
