  21. I first heard it during school, as well. Evidently, there were some TVs 
  22. tuned to the launch, but no one I know saw the actual liftoff. In the middle
  23. of class, a voice came over the loudspeaker and announced the tragedy. I 
  24. honestly had no idea how to react. We had been going so long, with a success
  25. rate so high, that I shudder to think what Mr. Probability had to say when 
  26. he glanced in its direction. We had no idea that something like this could 
  27. happen again, not since the Grissom-White-Chaffee mission.

  29. To this day, I STILL don't know what to feel, other than loss.
