  11. From the dimness of the rafters over the bar flutters a soggy piece of
  12. scrap paper.  With raised eyebrows, the burly Irish bartender deftly
  13. catches it as it wafts downward.  Casting his eyes over the scrap, he
  14. frowns, then rolls his eyes.  Taking the piece of paper to the noticeboard
  15. puzzled patrons can hear him muttering "Not another one - that's going to
  16. mean an extension to the bar ... or maybe someone'll open up a creche next
  17. door." (eyes lighten at the thought).  He pins the note to the board for
  18. all to read.

  22. Splash is delighted to announce the arrival to this world of Ashlee
  23. Keulen-Brain.  After a 1h15m delivery (we only _just_ made it to the
  24. hospital) Lesley delivered a healthy 3485g (7lb 11oz) baby girl (length
  25. 49cm, head circ. 34cm, for those who like the stats.).  Mother and
  26. daughter are both doing well.  Splash will try to resume normal
  27. communications later in the week, but until then will try to lurk and
  28. answer e-mail only  :-)
