- hi. it's slash, interfering on Rie's time again. the new slash,
- not the regular /*. i was wondering, are you okay? feather?
- it's more than just a little bit difficult to trust someone enough
- to truly empathize, but it's worth the effort. i know how easy it
- is to hide behind the shields and the fields and the walls, and i
- know how hard it is to be a person, any person, without fear of being
- crushed. sometimes, the only way to survive is to kill a little bit
- of yourself. but it's never gone forever, the human heart heals
- like Wolverine on a steroid iv. (that's a comic book reference BTW)
- a problem shared, is a problem halved. speaking as myself, i think there
- are people who are empathic enough to listen, and maybe by listening,
- help the regeneration process. i like to think i'm one, but that
- may be ego. but anyway, putting on a show or a mask or a hat (or
- a bird's body?) is one way to survive. maybe i didn't quite get
- your intended message. i hope so. the pLACE seems full of cool
- empathic types, so maybe i'll just shut up.
