  13. hi.  it's slash, interfering on Rie's time again.  the new slash, 
  14. not the regular /*.  i was wondering, are you okay?  feather?
  15. it's more than just a little bit difficult to trust someone enough
  16. to truly empathize, but it's worth the effort.  i know how easy it 
  17. is to hide behind the shields and the fields and the walls, and i
  18. know how hard it is to be a person, any person, without fear of being
  19. crushed.  sometimes, the only way to survive is to kill a little bit
  20. of yourself.  but it's never gone forever, the human heart heals
  21. like Wolverine on a steroid iv.  (that's a comic book reference BTW)
  22. a problem shared, is a problem halved.  speaking as myself, i think there 
  23. are people who are empathic enough to listen, and maybe by listening,
  24. help the regeneration process.  i like to think i'm one, but that
  25. may be ego.  but anyway, putting on a show or a mask or a hat (or
  26. a bird's body?) is one way to survive.  maybe i didn't quite get
  27. your intended message.  i hope so.  the pLACE seems full of cool
  28. empathic types, so maybe i'll just shut up.
