- Magda-Wolf heaves a deep sigh of resignation. "It
- figures. There's a weapons restriction? Guess you
- probably want mine, too, peace-knotted or not."
-
- She moves well away from everyone. "Well, if I've
- gotta give up Schnuggles, then I might as well be
- comfortable." She takes a deep breath, squeezes her
- eyes shut, and *concentrates*. There is a sudden
- implosion of air, various technicolored sparks (chiefly red,
- blue, and purple), and a smell of singed fur (followed
- immediately thereupon by a sharp and startled yelp).
-
- When the smoke clears, a new Magda is discovered sitting
- on the floor, gazing up at her new friends with a rueful
- expression. "Sorry about the special effects," she says,
- rubbing her posterior as she bounces to her feet "but I
- seem to be *sadly* out of practice. RL people tend to
- get a little crazy at the sight of me like this." This,
- on the whole, is not that surprising, as Magda is now a
- shortish (5'3"), stocky wolf with glossy black fur and
- very pointy canines. She is wearing a loose red tunic,
- belted with a braided red-and-black belt over baggy black
- pants which are stuck into (the same) black boots. There
- is a curved cavalry sabre (Mongolian, 13th C) in a black
- leather scabbard slung over her shoulder, a bone handled
- hunting knife at her right side, a boot knife inside her left
- boot, and a curved Middle-Eastern-looking dagger nestling along
- the small of her back.
-
- Magda notices a few puzzled expressions. "I know you're
- wondering why I don't have a tail--actually a lot of were-
- wolves (especially the more anthropomorphic of us) never
- did. Can't say as I'm sorry, either--the tailoring would
- be a real pain in the tail!"
-
- She sighs, walks over to the bar, and begins the lengthy
- process of removing her steel. "At least I'm only carrying
- the basics today. Do I HAVE to let go of Schnuggles?" she
- pleads.
