- Peter Chan gave a talk about his buying trips to Japan at our club 2
- weeks ago and showed pictures of beautiful Black Pines which he was
- not allowed to bring into the country. He mentioned that it was
- possible that White Pines could soon be on the forbidden list too.

- As for growing restricted trees from seed, I would imagine that this
- does not pose a problem because you would not actually be importing
- diseased trees. I know that garden centers and bonsai shops near me
- sell Black Pine seeds.
