- Last version of WWIV that I have heard of is WWIV 4.21, Net30 (for WWIVnet
- netting). There is a file to convert Waffle packets to WWIVnet and visa-versa
- called WWCP, send email to 1-9704@wwiv.cojones.com or roy@cybrspc.com and ask
- about it... I think you can get a copy of it someplace FTP (not sure).
- You would need the source code (about $50 for source) and TC++ (I believe) to
- edit the source, to add the "." to the base WFC menu is easy.. I did it by
- moving some code around from inside the source.. not sure of the MOD I tused..
- MOD=Modification for WWIV source code.. Ask Filo if you can about MODs..
- If you can email on WWIVnet send email to 1@9714 or 1@501 for info..
- the 1@501 is a WWCP gateway to waffle(?) I think..
-
- Far as I know there is no source code out for VBBS, but last I heard someone in
- Ireland (Northern?) wrote a modification for it so that VBBS can gate to
- fidonet or was it UUCP, inclluding WWIV and VBBS nets..
-
- IF you can get ahold of WWIV or VBBS netted BBSes might ask around there to..
