  11. i'm putting up a board in february with a UUCP connection.  i'm searching for
  12. the 'best' options in regards to BBS software.  i ran a WWIV board back in the
  13. days of version 3.21D and have called BBS' running later versions -- some i'm
  14. familiar with that package.  thought it was decent, but it's not like i'm
  15. emotionally attached to it or anything.

  17. how flexible is the latest version of WWIV?  do i need source to change around
  18. the menu commands; for instance adding and deleting items?  a particular
  19. function i want to pull off is to run a 'door' from the base menu.  oh, and
  20. what _is_ the latest version of WWIV?

  22. i'm talking about WWIV because i was thinking of running waffle under it.  i
  23. sure would like to see waffle in action before i go about setting it up.  any
  24. volunteers?

  26. and finally, i did get a response earlier on a similar topic talking about
  27. "Virtual BBS".  i have yet to check it out for myself, but it sounds pretty
  28. cool.

  31. newsgroup has been pretty meager in regards to responses.  maybe YOU can
  32. change that fact by RESPONDING.
