  33.     I do NOT beleive in god(s) for the same reason I do not beleive in
  34. spirits, it is because we, as humans used to attribute things we did not
  35. understand, like weather and a lot of other things to th esupernatural. As
  36. we have come to understand our world better, we find that MANY of the things
  37. we attributed to the supernatural, have material causes/sources. And there is
  38. the simple fact there is NO real REASON to beleive in the supernatural. We
  39. have learned that the "spirits" do not curse you when you eat grain that has
  40. been in the fields too long, such ideas came because Argot mold grew on the 
  41. grain and people mistaked LSD trips to reality.

  43.     We know that there is no being that makes the sun rise and set, we 
  44. know that there is no sentient being of some non-material existence that 
  45. controls the weather. There is No reason to beleive in such superstition.

  47.     I am an atheist, because there is NO PROOF of the supernatural being
  48. real. It is just that simple.

  50.     Unicorns and god(s) have something in common, people beleived in them
  51. because they did not really understand their material realities.

  53.     It seems like YOU missed the point of the thread, it is in reguards to
  54. theists who say that since you do not buy into their theism that you have 
  55. simply not read their BOOK (tm) hard enough. I consider this whole premise
  56. sily.
