  13. The reason that some Atheists bash fundies is the same reason that some fundies
  14. condemn Atheists.  There are individuals on both sides who are convinced that 
  15. their way is the only correct way (though I suspect that the percentage of Xians
  16. who believe they have the one true way far exceeds the percentage of Atheists 
  17. who are convinced of they correctness).

  19. The reason that some Atheists, myself included, are annoyed when people achieve
  20. something and then thank JEEZUS is because we can see the work they did to 
  21. accomplish their feat.

  23. The reason I do not take my discussion to a.a.m is because I like the direct 
  24. challenge to my world view, and I don't want a filter to the arguments that 
  25. others present (although the upstream newsfeed went down again and I lost another
  26. three days worth of news.  I'm beginning to sympathize with Mr. Nyikos.).  I much
  27. prefer to rely on the kill file and the "N" key to filter out the drivel.
