  25. Well, you raise a good issue, perhaps without meaning to.  Who
  26. are you to judge the value of someone else's interpretation of
  27. the Bible?   What is your authority to do so?   Why should we
  28. care if what Bishop Ussher thought the Bible said seems 'false'
  29. to you?

  31. IMHO, all this is is the oft repeated event of successive
  32. generations bringing their current interpretation of the Bible
  33. into line with what Science currently says, by declaring that
  34. some of the wilder speculations about what the Bible is saying,
  35. produced by previous generations, are now "false".

  37. The irony here is that it means that Science determines what
  38. people read into the Bible.
