- There is something else I could never fathom. Why can't theists believe
- that the universe simply exists, without a concious creator? They can
- easily believe that god exists without a creator; why not the universe
- too and remove one layer of complexity?

- I don't claim to know how the universe came about, but I am very sure
- that it was not by some "concious" power who purposely created it.
