- Expanding a little, we can find biblical references which support treating
- everyone badly.
-
- Don't have a Bible on me at the moment, but there is something in Deuteronomy.
- I think it is Deu 13, but not sure. Anyway, the chapter is about what to
- eat and what not to eat. You can eat things that taste good and are not
- infected and have little chance of containing parasites, but you cannot
- eat nasty tasting, parasite-ridden, disease-carrying vermin. Last but not
- least:
-
- If an animal dies of itself ( disease ) you may not eat it. You are to
- sell it to a stranger ( alien, non-believer ) that he may eat it.
-
- What a cruel and immoral thing to do to another human being. It is made
- all the more worse by the fact that it is found in a book which supposedly
- contains only the word of God. There are thousands of such references in
- the Bible. Everything from killing babies to raping women to killing one's
- own children. All at the commandment of this wonderful God. The Bible is
- definitely not the word of MY God. Mine has much higher morals.
