  13. I think I know the ones you are talking about then.  I have seen pictures of a really
  14. massive crossbow that had a tripod stand.  Came across them when I was reading up on
  15. crossbows prior to making my own.  (Still have not done so, but have most of the
  16. parts scrounged up.)  I thought you were talking about a modern equivalent.  If I
  17. remember, these old ones had the crank built in.  Then there were the ones the size
  18. of a catapult....HATE to get hit by the bolt out of one of those!
