- First of all, thanks for the support when I posted what I did about finding
- out some potentially awful things about my SO.

- Second, I just want to say that I was totally wrong about all of it. I don't
- want to go into too much detail, because I don't want to admit publicly the
- extent to which I overreacted. Let's just say that I should have expected
- something like this from a former angry-young-man who majored in hacks at
- MIT.

- Believe me, if he hadn't been able to give me a plausible explanation, I
- would have been out the door so fast I'd have left little *whoosh* lines
- like you see in cartoons. I don't need another version of my father in my
- life.

- Anyway, it's okay now. Angst levels back to normal (which, granted, is
- relative, but this is alt.angst).
