Well, here I am again. About two years ago I read alt.angst all the time,
flipping through the posts and even posting every so often. I started to
wonder though if reading this newsgroup was affecting my life. So one
day, roughly 24 months ago, I unsubscribed. A few months later I went on
a trip to the west and met someone with whom I had only communicated by
writing before. And then some months after that I started to get to know
a person here that I was always interested in. Life got better for me. I
was in bliss for many many months. I was always weary of this new found
"happiness" because I had been mocked many times in the past. (Not mocked
by people, but rather just "nature.") (I hope this doesn't sound _too_
stupid.) And my assumptions were correct as the bottom fell out and I was
dropped into a mass of confusion. I won't go into the whole story now - I'll
save that for a future posting. But I thought I would come back to this
newsgroups and poke around and see what I can find. About 1.5 weeks ago
I even called in to and appears on that radio show called Talknet. Spoke
briefly with that Mera (sp?) person. Her daughter, btw, dates a guy in
dinosaur jr. Anyway...although certain people no longer seem to be active in
this group, there appears to be a bunch o' interesting people. So I guess
I will read the postings here for the next months or so at least and perhaps
it will keep me from flipping out too much. And so here I am, just in
time for valentine's day.....
