- (which would be never).

- Also, peeve of course calls to mind "peevish" -- e.g. "Oh, don't be so
- *peevish*, graham". Peevish being defined by all sorts of
- anal-retentive adjectives such as "querulous, fretful, ill-tempered,
- contrary". Yuck.
