- Relax, that's just her speech pattern getting in the way.
-
- I finally realized what's so annoying about her writing style.
- It seems to be a dialect of ValSpeak. And, as the stereotype
- goes, the Valley Girl is the antithesis of the
- alt.angst reader. Not to mention that stereotypical Valley Girls
- don't have enough personality to recognize angst. Blissfully unaware.
-
- To Hermes:
- You may want to tone down on the "and stuff", "and junk", and
- the smileys. Especially the smileys.
-
- To the rest:
- If Hermes' "Space Cadet bow-head" style begins to annoy you,
- just ignore her. Don't talk to her, no matter *what* she does.
- She'll either go away or change her tune. Believe me, it works.
-
- Either Miss Bock is putting on an act (in which case I'll subtly nod
- in approval, from one hellraiser to another), or she's a True (not pale)
- Blue bowhead (which makes the reactions of the people here even more amusing).
