  21. I finally realized what's so annoying about her writing style.
  22. It seems to be a dialect of ValSpeak.  And, as the stereotype
  23. goes, the Valley Girl is the antithesis of the
  24. alt.angst reader.  Not to mention that stereotypical Valley Girls
  25. don't have enough personality to recognize angst.  Blissfully unaware.

  28.     You may want to tone down on the "and stuff", "and junk", and
  29.     the smileys.  Especially the smileys.

  32.     If Hermes' "Space Cadet bow-head" style begins to annoy you,
  33.     just ignore her.  Don't talk to her, no matter *what* she does.
  34.     She'll either go away or change her tune.  Believe me, it works.

  36. Either Miss Bock is putting on an act (in which case I'll subtly nod
  37. in approval, from one hellraiser to another), or she's a True (not pale)
  38. Blue bowhead (which makes the reactions of the people here even more amusing).
