  24. To increase the pressure on nation-wide grand jury
  25. interrorgations of alleged members of the Animal Liberation Front
  26. (ALF), an international campaign has been proposed to show
  27. disgust and anger at the United States' form of criminalizing
  28. progressive movements (ie, students' movements, the civil rights
  29. movement, anti-war movements, native struggles, etc.).

  31. On the local level, the possibilities are countless:
  32. demonstrations at federal buildings, street theatre, leafletting,
  33. letter-writing, city art, etc.
  34.  
  35. Also, writing to Jonathan Paul directly is very important.
  36. Jonathan was jailed on Election Day in November for refusing to
  37. testify before a federal grand jury. Letters of support would be
  38. very welcome.
