- Yes, the cable inside (A) is terminated. You need to make a cable with the
- standard connector on one end (Centronics/SCSI-1) and 25-pair 3M on the
- other. To be sure of the kind of connector needed (3M), look in the box.
- The internal cable is terminated. Take off the terminator and you'll see
- what kind of connector is needed. We use 50-conductor flat cable for our
- extender cable. We took off the tin face plate of the original plug and
- snaked our cable out above it.
- This type of cable (SCSI-1 to 3M) may be readily available in Europe since
- it is also used for (standard) SCSI access from VME-based FIC's (I understand
- that VME is quite prolific in Europe).
