- Hi,
-
- I am finally ready to upgrade to Multinet V3.1 on our cluster (since
- V3.2 is about to be released :-), but we have a Multi-version cluster
- since our 65x0's are running VMS 5.4-2 and we have 10 VAXStation 4000
- Mod 60's running VMS A5.5. We are using the undocumented definitions
- of the Multinet logicals to move Multinet off of the System disk so that
- I don't have to install it on the system disks for each of the system
- disks in the cluster. (We have two 5.4-2 system disks, and 10 A5.5
- system disks).
-
- Are there any images which are different for VMS 5.4 and VMS 5.5? I
- have been running 3.0 in this configuration for several months now with
- no problem but it just occurred to me that I might have been lucky that
- we haven't seen any problems but I might be sitting on a "dynamite keg".
-
- Please respond as soon as possible, and then have happy holidays.
-
- Thanks,
- Ari
