  12. Hi all,
  13.   A friend has a little problem with some TK-50 tapes... Yeah, he put them
  14. in a drive,:-( , and the drive SEEMS to have erased the header/pre-amble
  15. from the tapes the drive has ee replaced and now he can't read the tapes.

  17. So, is it AT ALL possile to recover the its off the tapes i this case?
  18. Can the TK-50 be conned into reading the tape and ignoring the lack of
  19. pre-amble? Can someone in DEC do this for them if need be? They have
  20. a lot of mass-spectrometer data they realy would like back.
