- If you plan on having any waterproofing done on your house
- anytime soon, avoid Vaughn Waterproofing in Durham at all
- costs. They supposedly waterproofed my house when it was built
- but they did a lousy job and everytime that it rained I had a
- small lake in my crawl space. Then when I called them to fix it,
- they gave me the run around. I ended up hiring a landscaper to have
- the probelm fixed. We found a mess when we dug up the original
- "waterproofing". Judging from the quality of the work that we found, it
- was abvious that Vaughn Waterproofing doesn't know the first thing
- about waterproofing.
-
- In general, you are better off hiring a LISCENSED landscaper to do
- any sort of waterproofing/drainage work. They will have had some exposure
- in school to hydrology, soil types, drainage, etc. Most of the waterproofers
- around don't have that exposure.
