  13. If you plan on having any waterproofing done on your house
  14. anytime soon, avoid Vaughn Waterproofing in Durham at all
  15. costs. They supposedly waterproofed my house when it was built
  16. but they did a lousy job and everytime that it rained I had a
  17. small lake in my crawl space. Then when I called them to fix it,
  18. they gave me the run around. I ended up hiring a landscaper to have
  19. the probelm fixed. We found a mess when we dug up the original 
  20. "waterproofing". Judging from the quality of the work that we found, it
  21. was abvious that Vaughn Waterproofing doesn't know the first thing
  22. about waterproofing.

  24. In general, you are better off hiring a LISCENSED landscaper to do
  25. any sort of waterproofing/drainage work. They will have had some exposure
  26. in school to hydrology, soil types, drainage, etc. Most of the waterproofers
  27. around don't have that exposure.
