  30.     Several times I have requested models/calculations from Mr. Holden,
  31. with no result.  As a specific example, I have asked for model atmospheres
  32. of Venus which SHOW that pure solar energy cannot give the observed tempera-
  33. ture profile.  As we are only now begining to understand global atmospheric
  34. dynamics, I find it unlikely that this request will ever be answered.
