  22. Not true.  The simple explanation given to me years ago by
  23. a Roman Catholic nun with a master's degree in biology was:
  24. God is the guiding force of evolution.  When the early hominids
  25. reached a certain point of development, God gave two of them
  26. a human soul.  I no longer accept this, but within the framework
  27. of Christianity there is nothing illogical with combining
  28. acceptance of the fact of evolution with a belief in a next
  29. world.  The box into which you have placed yourself
  30. is entirely of your own making.

  36. existence on Earth is the result of natural, understandable
  37. processes, and not based on the capricious whim of some
