- I have not historically been a Young Earther, but recently was exposed to
- it and got somewhat enthusiastic. I mean, being a real live iconoclast!
- Anyhow, I responded to the FAQ to present what I had read to a skeptic for
- skeptical evaluation, and it doesn't look too good. (Now evolution of life is
- a different matter, however.)

- Anyhow, as you can see, we were not talking "there is a flood every year 'round
- here, so there must have been one there every year". From the citation, the
- Green River formation took six million years to accumulate, which does seem
- like a long time to be undisturbed except for small incursions.
