- I agree with all of your previous statements regarding speed of legislation
- and definite answers to scientific problems. I still feel activism designed
- to gain high publicity through radical events is detrimental to the entire
- process. Much of the environmental awareness that has come about recently
- is highly attributable to scientific realizations and grass roots campaigning,
- not high publicity activities. I'll admit - there are two connotations to
- activism - the radicalist connotation must be dropped in order for activist
- groups to succeed.
