  33. trees.  In September 1991 I posted a report by Joe Thornton to
  34. this forum, containing the very information that made its way
  35. into the book.  John McCarthy apparently hasn't bothered to
  36. address the points made in that report, and I doubt he would
  37. do so now, except to make some kind of knee-jerk generalization
  38. about the awfulness of environmentalists.
