- Some of you don't believe in God. Others don't believe that
- aliens from space exist. And, strangely enough, there are
- even those who don't believe in either.
-
- Those are the people I want to reach out to. For you are,
- _without a doubt_, wrong.
-
- I have a mathematical proof which states that either God
- must be in existence, or space aliens, or both.
-
- Rather than bore you with endless lists of equations and
- tables, I will sum it up using the main idea.
-
- ---
- The probability of a world being (or having at some time
- been) inhabited by living beings is rather low, given that
- that world does exist. Now, assume (for the proof) that
- (*Damn this cheap editor, scratch the end of that last line*)
-
- The number of worlds in the universe (known and unknown) is
- immense, and greatly outweighs the small probability of life
- on other planets. The final probability of aliens comes out
- to be 100% with an error of 10^(-112).
-
- Only by an act of God could you get past those odds!
- ---
-
- You may be saying to yourself right now, who cares anyway?
- But the true value of this proof comes to us when we see
- that if we find that aliens (we're talking intelligent
- beings here, not algae on Mars) do not and have never
- existed in the universe, then we prove the existence of God!
-
- But that must be saved for another day.
