- One of the FM stations here in Portland (92.3 MHz) is playing "THE
- TOP NINE HUNDRED TWENTY-THREE ROCK AND ROLL HITS OF ALL TIME." The
- tune currently playing is "Summertime Blues" by Blue Cheer. It's in
- the 600s, somewhere.
-
- They played "Can't Find My Way Home" by Blind Faith yesterday after-
- noon, putting it in the 800s or 900s.
-
- There is no justice.
-
- Buddy Mile's "Them Changes" placed in the top 923, though. I was
- surprised. I don't know who selected these, but it is sponsored by
- Budweiser.
-
- I'm listening because I know the tune and lyric to *lots* of the
- songs. The others I can be indifferent to, without feeling out
- of date.
-
- - Larry Huntley (Who am I kidding; I *am* out of date.)
