  10. Yesterday I went to Burger King for the first time in a while,
  11. and discovered that they had followed the McDonald's marketing 
  12. ploy of switching to recycled paper bags and wrappers.  The 
  13. paper bag was of course covered with self-congratulatory comments
  14. on how many pounds of trash they were saving by doing this, et 
  15. cetera, und so weiter.

  17. This would have been vaguely encouraging, had their long eco-blurb
  18. not ended thus:

  20. "All in all, it's just one of the ways we're trying to make the
  21. world a nicer place to eat."
