  11. Last night (it was Christmas), our local NPR station finished
  12. off "all things considered" and launched into Duke Ellington's
  13. version of The Nutcracker. I had the tv on with sound down, and
  14. Lawrence Welk dancers started DANCING ALONG WITH THE RADIO.
  15. With those big goofy grins they all have. Eerie stuff.
