- the Dog Fly Religion part was actually part of the band's name back
- then. They had a member (not a penis, a BAND member) named Dogbowl.
- after he left, they went to just King Missile. They had FOUR albums,
- the additional one being Fluting On the Hump, which is combined with
- THEY on cassette, and Mystical Shit on CD. If you like the lyrics,
- the lead singer, John S. Hall did a side project with Kramer (the guy
- who runs Shimmy Disc Records (King Missile's original label)) called
- Real Men. If you like the melody's, the Keyboard player is in a band
- called When People Were Shorter and Lived Near the Water. He sings a
- really funny version of "My Man is Gone, Now" from Porgy and Bess.

- I like them a lot, but they seemed to have been "tamed" by the major
- label they are on with The Way To Salvation, but judging by the song
- that started this thread, that might have changed.
