  10. Good news for all of you, I'm leaving for the holidays.  Bad news, I'll be back
  11. in mid-January.

  15.     Once the firing had died down a bit, he ventured forth in search of
  16. trees.  All that was left, though, was rubble and two or three parking lots. 
  17. Growing bolder, and believing his enemies to be back on their own little
  18. islands, he went farther afield.  About a mile and a half from his sanctuary,
  19. he was wiped out by a crossfire from three pillboxes combined with a cleverly
  20. placed land mine.  Such is life.
