- I've never been pregnant, obviously, but I do deal with an awful lot
- of pregnant women. And with more then a few who have had abortions in
- the past. I have heard a couple of women liken their pregnancies to
- slavery, yes. These fell into two camps. Those who said it jokingly,
- and thought their distress was worth the eventual outcome, and those
- who meant it, and excercised their right to abort the pregnancy.
- I don't think either group would have carried the analogy to the point
- of basing legislation on it, certainly.
