  27. I've never been pregnant, obviously, but I do deal with an awful lot
  28. of pregnant women. And with more then a few who have had abortions in
  29. the past. I have heard a couple of women liken their pregnancies to
  30. slavery, yes. These fell into two camps. Those who said it jokingly,
  31. and thought their distress was worth the eventual outcome, and those
  32. who meant it, and excercised their right to abort the pregnancy. 
  33. I don't think either group would have carried the analogy to the point
  34. of basing legislation on it, certainly.
