- It's not a debating tactic. I'm just trying to answer Galen's question.
- Maybe he has some definitions of "viable" that I've never seen before.

- Viability is not a justification. It is, for some of us, a dividing point
- which marks a difference in the EFFECTS of our pro-choice view. Before
- viability, I believe abortion should be absolutely protected. After
- viability, there is some validity to the claims that some restrictions
- are necessary -- enough validity, at least, to allow a popular mandate
- to decide some issues.
