- I do not argue "in favor of" abortion restrictions, Mark. That would imply
- that I preferred their existence over their non-existence. I do not.

- I argue only AGAINST the grandiose claims of Pro-choice Absolutism, i.e. the
- belief that the government has absolutely NO right to intervene in ANY aspect
- of abortion. Pro-choice Absolutism, its laughability from an academic point of
- view, its tendency to lobotomize its adherents, and its tendency to viciously
- polarize the issue, is IMO more of a threat to the respectability, credibility
- and ultimately the viability of the pro-choice movement than anything in the
- wildest dreams of pro-life strategists. Hence it is the main focus of my
- abortion-issue concerns.
