  28. I explained this to you previously.  Certain news programs contain a bug
  29. which will result in a post containing a From: line in the body, starting
  30. in column 1, to be taken as a new post.  This can cause massive problems,
  31. resulting in hundreds of duplicate copies being posted.

  35. Editing errors?  What's the difference?  The point remains that Chaney
  36. responded to someone addressing me as though they had been addressing
  37. him.  He was wrong, exactly as Susan described.  Everyone who saw the
  38. original exchange saw this.  All you're doing is making yourself look
  39. like more of a fool.

  41. You posted this under the heading "The Mendacity of Susan Garvin".  The
  42. mendacity was on the part of Chaney when he accused Susan of forgery.
  43. (I'd guess he figured this out eventually, after having his nose rubbed in
  44. it; hence his failure to follow through on his threats.)

  46. Now, we could all tell you that you're mistaken [you're mistaken:  Susan's
  47. right and Chaney's wrong], but you might then accuse us all of mendacity.
  48. We could show you the original posts [I have them], but if you didn't
  49. believe them when Susan posted them, why would you believe them when anyone
  50. else posts them.  It seems that the only solution is for you to find an
  51. archive, dig up the original posts yourself, and satisfy yourself as to the
  52. truth.  Then come back and apologize to everyone you accused of lying
  53. about it.
