  28. 1973, he'd see estimates of abortion-related deaths that far
  29. exceed the numbers of abortion-related deaths after 1973.

  41. abort.  Some people believe his argument.  The people who
  42. do are usually men who can't imagine anyone desperate enough
  43. to put something like a coat hanger inside her.  I've
  44. known women who did just that.  People have stated publicly
  45. that they did just that.  Willke claims it's all a conspiracy,
  46. and that all these women are lying.  I wonder how he'd react
  47. to the story that my best friend's grandmother, who believes
  48. abortion is murder and watched her friend die from a self-
  49. induced coat hanger abortion, tells.  Why would she lie?

  51. I think the attempt by the right-to-lie people to pretend
  52. that women don't die when abortion is illegal is an obvious
  53. manipulation of the truth to spare them the embarrassment
  54. of admitting that they simply don't care if their brood
  55. sow lives or dies.
