- ## [lots of PHoney's bullshit deleted]
- #
- #The "bullshit" that you have deleted is information quoted
- #directly from an advertisement in the abortion clinic where
- #Dr. Tiller works. Still think it's "bullshit", Ms. Garvin? ;-)
-
- It's still bullshit, Reverend, because it is not "information
- quoted directly from an advertisement in the abortion clinic
- where Dr. Tiller works." It is tripe that PHoney created mixed
- in with pieces of quotes (supposedly) from an advertisement.
-
- I know that you don't recognize a difference between actual,
- contextual quotes and selectively chosen sentence fragments,
- but I do.
-
- #Here Ms. Garvin deletes the following key sentences, where
- #Mr. Nyikos talks about the fee schedule:
- #
- ### The cold light of reality begins with the fee schedule. Sixteen to 22
- ### weeks, $750; 22 to 26 weeks, $1800. Beyond 26 weeks, $2200.
-
- Why are these key sentences? Because you want to see the fees
- listed again? Or because you like repeating unsubstantiated
- rumor?
-
- #Notice that Mr. Nyikos acknowledges that the information
- #on the fee schedule was not obtained from Dr. Tiller:
-
- Of course he did. I quoted his achnowledgement.
-
- ### This
- ### information is missing from the brochure, and I am relying for it on
- ### _Pro Life Answers to Pro Choice Arguments_, by Randy Alcorn, Multnomah
- ### Press, 1992. Information current as of May 1991, courtesy of Ann Tilson
- ### writing in _Kansans for Life_.
- #
- ## Really - why bother with original sources when you can use
- ## pro-lie propaganda instead?
- #
- #Notice how Ms. Garvin deletes a few key sentences above
- #to make it appear as though all of Mr. Nyikos' information
- #was obtained from pro-life sources.
-
- It would only appear that way to a moron like you, DODie. There
- is a reference to the brochure in the included quote.
-
- #In fact, much of the
- #information was obtained using Dr. Tiller's advertisements
- #and using quotes of Dr. Tiller.
-
- In fact, you don't know that, do you, Reverend? Nyikos could
- have made it up.
-
- Of course, Reverend Holtsinger deleted the part of my post where
- I said that anyone who was interested in checking on PHoney
- could call Dr. Tiller's clinic themselves. DODie hates for
- people to learn the truth about anything.
-
- #Really Ms. Garvin, I had expected better from you. Normally
- #you're pretty good at misrepresenting other peoples' posts.
-
- I'm sure that there's a niche for you in the pro-lie movement,
- DODie. As I said, though, it's not arguing that all pro-forcers
- aren't lunatics. It's not believable coming from you. Similarly,
- there's a niche for you in t.a. It's not accusing other people
- of misrepresenting posts, though, for the same reason. If you
- insist on trying to fulfill this latter role, let me give you
- some advice - at least try not to misrepresent one person's article
- when you accuse them of misrepresenting a third person's article.
- Fewer people will laugh at you.
