- In my father's case, no one is planning on having an abortion for the sole
- purpose of providing tissue for him. I understand that you would not chose
- fetal tissue transplant for yourself, but do you feel that other's shouldn't
- be allowed to choose such a procedure?

- Some researchers have gone ahead with their studies. In the past month I've
- read about scientists who used this procedure on 13 patients. Many of the
- patients experienced positive results.

- Even a temporary cure would be a big improvement. The last time he fell, he
- fractured three ribs. Next time he might not be that lucky. Even a temporary
- cure (and by the way, I'm not convinced the results of these procedures are
- short-lived) could end up saving his life.
